This company is based in East Yorkshire however we are willing to consider applicants who are willing to relocate.This company have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Design Engineer to join their busy team. Duties and ResponsibilitiesTHE ROLE.JOB TITLE: CAD DESIGN ENGINEER. Reporting to the Management level, the CAD Design Engineer will be responsible for taking design concepts and turning them into 3D production ready models and 2D drawings as well as ensuring that drawings are production ready in terms of cost and fit for purpose. The work will involve CAD Design within the framework of the CAD role. This role is project specific involving intense CAD Design using timber and plywood as well as minor modifications to existing designs. The role will also involve influencing design in order to stay ahead of the competition. Skills / Qualifications / Experience RequiredREQUIREMENTS.As a CAD Design Engineer you should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of using 2D and have a thorough working knowledge of 3D packages. Ideally you will have experience of 3D design within any of the following; timber, plywood, plastics, bathrooms, kitchens, modular, portacabins or architecture. Packages used could include; Solidworks, Solidedge, Pro Engineer, Inventor or AutoCAD. This role involves working on numerous multi phased projects therefore you should have an ability to work under pressure whilst achieving deadlines.
