Job Overview

The Chiltern Training Group are currently looking to recruit a Business Skills Trainer to join the European Team. The following position will be a full time role and will involve European Travel. The priority for the new Trainer will be to develop and deliver the Chiltern Management Training Programme. This role will cover the whole of Europe, however there is an expectation that the trainer would also provide some training to the US employees.


Duties and Responsibilities

- Liaise with all levels of Management; the Training and Development team (including Training Representatives); and Resourcing Solutions to identify training needs

- Design training sessions including support materials for the training programmes

- Design and deliver specific Line Management and Soft Skills training according to the Training Matrix

- To co-ordinate the delivery of Resource Solutions and Induction training days, and support the delivery of CCRU training days

- To provide training and additional guidance to those Chiltern staff required to design and deliver training presentations

- To evaluate and be responsible for the purchase of external training resources when required.


Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

- A University degree and / or a training qualification / accreditation e. G. Certificate in Training Practice, CIPD etc - Exposure to the Clinical Research Arena

- Proven experience in a Training with Line Management

- Exceptional communicator across a wide range of roles

- Proficient in MS Office

- Able to plan own workload and prioritise important tasks

- Able to demonstrate use of initiative in creating processes / procedures and problem solving

- Comfortable with making decisions without constant support

- Evidence of being able to delegate to and support more junior roles
