Job OverviewProviding bookkeeping support to our clients who are small and medium sized businesses.
You should be able to work on your own initiative to ensure that accurate and complete entries are made in a timely and controlled manner.
Working with our clients you will require a friendly and outgoing personality and the ability to work both on your own and as part of a team to ensure that the highest level of service is provided.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo provide a complete bookkeeping service to trial balance stage covering areas such as:
Purchase ledger, bank and vat reconciliations, purchase order processing, filing, payroll including journal entries.
Improve accounting processes wherever possible.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience RequiredAbility to assist businesses to improve their accounting processes - desirable.
Previous general bookkeeping experience - essential
Experience in using SAGE and any other accounts suites - essential.
Qualified to at least Certified Accounting Technician level or equivalent - highly desirable.
Good communicator - essential
