Job OverviewMackSense Ltd is a young market research agency and consulting firm based in Edinburgh and with an office in France.MackSense provides B2B market research and international trade consultancy services in the UK and overseas to clients in various sectors (Communications, Electronics, IT, Manufacturing, Transport, Chemicals, Biotechnologies and pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Agriculture, Environment, Luxury goods). MackSense is looking for an ambitious business developer looking for a real challenge to drive its sales growth. Duties and Responsibilities- Identify new sales opportunities through a variety of sources- Cold call new and existing clients to generate new business - Schedule appointments with prospects and existing clients to promote the company and its services - Sell complementary services (Market Research, Data Analysis, Workshops and Consulting) - Write winning proposals - Generally develop and manage client relationship - Some travel required Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required- 2-5 years sales experience in any of the 10 sectors above with, ideally, some experience selling services.- Understanding of the market research and marketing industry a plus - Successful sales track record - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Self motivated and autonomous - Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) Related Job Categories...Sales JobsManagement Jobs > Business Development Jobs Other jobs in Edinburgh
