Job OverviewA forward-thinking, expanding firm of Accountants based in Dartford require an ACCA / ACA qualified Accounts and Tax Manager to manage and coordinate its busy Production Department. The post holder will be expected to take a leading role in the development of the division and of the company as a whole.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Partners, your main responsibilities will be the development of the Department, including its staff and processes, the management of client relationships and to be accountable for the department’s overall performance against its targets. Other key tasks will include preparing reports and briefings, staff training, motivation and organisation of staff, work scheduling and allocation, budgeting and monitoring and updating internal software systems.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience RequiredThe post holder will be expected to be a self-starter, have a considerable understanding of people and process management within the accounting profession and be able to implement and consistently improve on best practice within the firm. Ideally, the post holder must be able to associate with the long-term vision of the firm and be willing to play an integral role in helping to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan.
