I have a small business that is losing money and is reaching the point where it may have to stop trading. Though a limited company, the premises lease is in my personal name, and I would like to know what would happen regarding the remainder of the lease if I ceased trading. Would the landlord evict me, thus ending the lease, or could they continue billing me for the ten years remaining on the lease, which would probably force me into personal bankruptcy?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Paul
