People reading this may have had contact in the past with my old site. Well im now looking for seo help Not ppc managment as that is sorted. I did recently sign up with a company for 500 a month for set keywords but they once again blagged me (well didnt tell the entire truth should we say). I'm pretty clued up but just dont have the time to do the leg work. I have been told that link building is key ? which I do what i can but rather pay someone plus i know alot of blogs are nofollow now so rather pay someone that gets the right ones. if anyone can help then please get intouch. Also i see a lot of people are swapping links ? why is this as i have been told that its pointless now as cancels each other out ?would like advice on this though if anyone can help. Available 7days aweek day and night for chat. Regards Paul

I offer mutual linking as business card-style adverts, but this might not be relevant to you at the moment. Bots like information, so a plain link in a list isn't very helpful. Adding a brief description and contact details is "content," so the bots are more likely to pick that up. Nofollow blogs? I had no idea there were any such things. I thought the whole point of blogs was to be followed, but I suppose that depends on where they are hosted and what they are for. I've got an RSS feed reader linked to my Home page so that every time I post in my blog, the reader picks it up and displays it, updating the Home page remotely. Bots like regular updates and I find it convenient to work that way. Does any of this work? Google my name. I've only recently gone professional, so I'm not very high up the rankings as "web designer Manchester," and I've got competitors who have been doing this for years, so I'm relying on directory listings, social networks websites like Twitter and Facebook, and linking my website on my projects and on friends' websites to boost my rankings in the search engines. I hope that helps. |

| Reply : 13 Mar 2011 - (Edited : 13 Mar 2011) Jayde.com is another well-regarded SEO company. FreeWebSubmission.com is pretty good, too. I'm listing my site with them for free, but they all offer a premium service for a small monthly fee, which sounds like what you're looking for. I hope that helps. |

| Reply : 7 Apr 2011 How far have you gone about optimising your website? Website optimisation can be a tricky business unless you know exactly what you are doing, unlike website development, the look and feel of a well designed website cannot be dynamically changed without human intervention. Unfortunately SEO is not like website design or development, although it's part of the process. For example, you may have a great looking website but not or poorly optimised for the search engines. SEO is dynamic in the sense that you may be ranked top 10 google #1 today and in the next few hours you ranked top 20 of google, this happens all the time so a typical google top rank website is not guaranteed to be #1 for long unless it's properly done. To maintain your lead in an high rank you need to put more efforts in the right channel optimising your website Paying a massive attention to your chosen keywords and key phrases is the trick and you should capitalise on it. Bear in mind that, as a well designed website does not guarantee your google top 10, so does your well optimised website does not guaranty your ROI; So some of your road map to a well optimised website is as followed; (1) Choose your preferred keywords and key phrases (2) Find your competition based on your chosen keywords or key phrases (3) Type your key phrase in google, this will quickly list the top players based on your chosen key phrase (4) Compare your website with the lot (5) Feature your chosen keywords and key phrases in your document title, body etc (6) Request link exchange to and from your website (7) Submit your website to directories, community forums etc (8) Tap into the power of social network; i.e. facebook, digg, twitter etc. (9) Avoid linking website with other websites that non credit worthy (If you do Google will penalise you for it by reducing your site ranking) (10) Submit your website to search engines that you will like to rank high If you can follow these steps you will be surprised how far you will go. Now to try and maintain your ranking position rather than going lower in your ranking; most common mistake is when you think you are updating your website and you accidentally tampered with your keywords or key phrases within your document and other crucial aspects will downgrade your rank in the search engine And finally, nothing like one time website optimisation, it's like, optimising your website for the best is an ongoing project, so if you have the time it takes then do it yourself otherwise paying monthly is a great idea. Most people think like because they are paying SEO experts to periodically manage their website ranking is a guaranteed way of obtaining high ranks "NO THEY ARE WRONG" they are only paying for the time the SEO expert spent doing some of what i have listed above. I hope someone will find this post use.
