Improving position in results

When I enter Wedding photography sheffield - my listing is second from top with 7 reviews - when I enter Portrait photography sheffield - its not even in the listing- Can you show me how to get onto the first page with portrait photography. I have no reviews for portrait photography - but there are other photographers with 0 revs and they get on the page

Hi Philip,

Thanks for getting in touch.

This is all to do with the categories that you've selected for your business to be listed in.

Currently you have chosen the main category of "Photographers" and additional categories of "Wedding Photographers" and "Photography Services".

If you change one of your current category choices to "Portrait Photographers", then you should find your position in searches for that term in your area is much improved.

You can change your main category choice by going to My FreeIndex > Basic Business Details, and your additional categories by going to My FreeIndex > Page Enhancements.

I hope that information is helpful. By the way, you didn't say whether you were searching on FreeIndex or on Google for your business. Please note that the above advice only applies to FreeIndex - Google has its own rules for determining search results.
