I offer IELTS lessons to foreign students and professionals in London who need to take this test for Academic (University studies) or Work (getting a permanent position, usually doctors and nurses) purposes.

Because most students need/take a small number of lessons, I need a constant flow of new students to fill up every available slot.

Many thanks for your ideas and suggestions.

Hi Jose,

Why not think outside the box a little and expand the ways you deliver your training. Not everyone will be able to spend the time or afford the training and yet still need to get trained.

Would it be possible to make a set of Training DVD' s that provide the lessons so that people can consume the information on their own time.

You could also consider using online video for the same purpose. It's very low cost these days to create professional training DVDs.

So if they won't come to the course then why not take the course to them. You would not have to charge as much but you would probably sell a fair number to make up for the lower price. Your overheads for training them would be almost zero once setup.

If you need any help on doing this then let me know.

Best regards,

Steve.

One of my clients has great success in using Google Ads pointed at the country of origin and in their language. It took us a few weeks to get it running smoothly but was well worth it.

You can target individuals or referring organisations .. both work well.

There are several other ways you can target countries of origin .. e.g. media articles, websites etc.

I've found offering short articles in two languages to be eyecatching and effective.
