In fact your customer has to be registered with us, or they can't post any reviews on the site. However, they don't have to be registered as a business - most reviewers will only register as a private individual user.
Your customer's email address will be their account username, and if they log in to their account, they will be able to edit the review they've written about your business. The easiest way to do this is for the customer to go to your business profile page, and if they are logged in to their account, then they will see an "Edit your Review" button provided next to their review. Clicking on that button will let them edit the text or ratings of their review (and that is also the way for customers to remove a review they've written if needed).
