| Original Message Added : 22 Oct 2010 I wonder if anybody can help me- I certainly hope so! At the moment I live in Glasgow but am shortly to move to Johnstone to be closer to my elderly Dad. I have MS and ME and have, after a 3 year battle with the DWP, got permission for Supported Permitted Work. The legislation stipulates that I must have a 'support' organisation for me to contact, even by phone, once a quarter just to let them know how I am getting on. I have been working for the last 4 years, within the guidelines and well enough. I have thought up and sourced all my own wee jobs i.e. Reiki Master/Teacher, TV/Film Extra, Mystery Shopper, Independent Business Consultant for a utility company, and a BBC Contributor. I thought outside the box! I love being able to still contribute, active, and meeting new people ( I was a senior nurse so am a people person); I have made some great friends through this. Due to my change of area I have to find another organisation which I can cite as my support. At the moment Glasgow North Ltd provides this via an Employment Advisor. After 50 e-mails and dozens of phone calls I am losing hope. If anyone can think of a regeneration, employment agency that may help I would be extremely gratefull. Thanking you in advance Hazel McDonald |

Have you tried BusinessLink for advice to see if they can help identify a suitable contact? 2. If not have you tried a friendly employment agency in the local area your relocating that you could register with that would be willing to take on this role? Regards SteveB: www.pxwm.co.uk |
