Hi My first impression was that the site was a page of advertising .. and I asked myself why I'd want to stay on the page ... If other people get the same impression they wil leave. Try to make the page more attractive to visitors and make it clear what you do .. make this the first message visitors see. No one goes online with the intention of looking at ads. THEN worry about driving more traffic to the site.

Thanks Stefan I know what you mean and thank you for taking the time to write back to me. Do you not feel that although we have got advertising space on there - the main reasons to sign up are 'call for actions' to the user? Maybe once the advertising spaces are filled - the site may look more appealing eh? Thanks again Andrea

I couldn't agree more with the previous reply.

To me, there is far too much "advertise here" stuff going on which is spoiling the look of the site.

Instead of having so many banners saying the same thing, try to add banners or graphics that will make people want to sign up. Tell them why they should sign up and what benefits they will get if they do.

The worst thing that I found on this site though is that when I select a random option to look for details (such as venues for example), every single link I clicked said there was no data available for the option I chose.

This isn't a good start if people come here to find information and you haven't got it (especially if you say you have) and it doesn't make me want to sign up either (and if I'm honest, I'd probably never come back to this site again due to my user experience).

So, in a nutshell: remove most of the "advertise here" banners / logos, make the site more content rich and appealing to the reader (imagine you are reading a book if you will) and make sure the data is there that I'm looking for.
Not only should this make your site more engaging but it will help it rank better on search engines as well.

Hope this helps.

Yes calls to action ought to make people want to sign up ... but that is only theory. You then have to providfe calls to action that will provide benefits and make people want to sign up. I'd advise removing some of the ads .. especially as they are still blank. If not people (and possibly search engines)will regard it as a link farm. It isn't obvious what the site is about except advertising ... so why not make it clear at the top of each page .... The entertainment networking directory for professionals You also need to look at your metatags as at the moment they will focus on the ad content and not the copy on the page. That means getting up the search engines will be hell ... no, correction, impossible! What are you analytics telling you about the current traffic e.g. which pages they leave from?

No disrespect Andy but that website looks very amertureish.

They claim to be SEO specialists but it would appear that all they do is drive traffic to your site. I couldn't find anything on there that gave more details on SEO (and their site didn't work properly).

All I could find was a links page with your website and 3 others on it. Don't know how that worked for you but I wouldn't use them (but that's just my opinion).

Andy,

I've just clicked on the link and signed up for 300 targeted visits to my site based on you saying that you have got a lot of work from this. I checked my email from PayPal and the payment has gone to you!

This isn't good - this website is obviously made by you so why would you say that it works well and you have had a lot of business from it? Your main website (as per your details) does NOT point to the SEO web page and to be honest I don't trust this at all now.

I appreciate this isn't the place for this discussion but I want to warn others in case they do the same. As it is, I'd like a prompt and full refund please as I now don't believe that you will deliver the goods.

I don't know if this was your intention or not but this looks to me like you're trying to rip people off!

no not at all, i do alot of seo work for seotraffic as i am an affiliate marketer and they do deliver results as i use them on a regular basis, if you would like to send me your site details i will get you your 300+ visiters within the next 48 hours, after you have seen the results, then decide if you are happy or not, a refund is fine i can sort that out for you by contacting the director but this site is trustable i promise you, you just have to allow a few days for it to work, let me know if you want the visiters or not, Thanks

Andy.

I'd still like a refund please (I've been ripped off too many times).

For future reference, if you post links to sites like this and the payments go to you then I think you should make that clear in your postings otherwise people will get the wrong impression as I did.

Thank you.

Yes, I'm sure thanks.

The payments appear to go to you via paypal as it's your name on the recipient details.
Thanks.

Hi Andy and Clive,

I have to say Andy i can understand Clive's concerns.

The web site is littered with mistakes and looks cheap and tacky, and is a free site with webs.com.

Also if you are an affiliate then you should have a unique URL otherwise how would they confirm who directed traffic to them.

I would also question how they can guarantee 300+ unique targeted visitors? If I only took on work in my town (Bamber Bridge) I can assure you there wouldn't be 300 plus people a month searching my keywords, never mind in 48 hours!

Whilst i know having a lot of unique visitors can boost you up search engines as being more relevant I think you should have been more clear on this.

Edmund
