You could try adding ads in local shop windows - good cleaners are like golddust here in Bristol!

I have contacted the local council and got in touch with wardens/support workers of sheltered/warden controlled areas.

Most of my work has come through this contact and then word of mouth.

Contact your local Age UK (formerly Age concern and Help the Aged). Some regions hold a list of cleaners and regularly distrbute this list.

thankyou 4 all your ideas much appreciated a question 4 sap cleaning services how long did it take 4 u 2 take off as in that u were making enough 2 do it full time (thats pressuming that u are)

We only set up at the beginning of August this year but already have 8 customers. A lot of the business we have is word of mouth. My husband and I are hoping to make this our jobs and if we grow as planned we should have a full and a part time job by the end of the year.

We also offer shopping and a full laundry service. The ironing is a good income as you can do this anytime to suit you. You are only restricted by the collection and drop off time.

Do you offer any other services Lisa/Michelle?

Ironing is extremely good as you can fit this in on an evening whilst watching tv.
